We are the proprietors and hosts, Joe & Chris Cannon. Together we have years of experience in the high end hospitality industry and are eager to make each guest’s experience a wonderful one they will never forget. Our attention to detail and our passion for the area and all it has to offer is one of the strong points that will make a stay with us a unique experience.

We bring to you a keen sense of warmth and professionalism that shows in the experience you will have here. Joe is from the USA. He has a diverse and well rounded work history. He presently has spent many years working as a chef on mega yachts, creating gourmet cuisine for some of the worlds rich and famous. This is available to you when you stay at Coral Hill Bungalows. His years of business ownership and executive management helps lend a professional and friendly environment to a diverse and rustic environment.

Chris is from the south of Sweden (Hasslo). After many years of traveling the world and working in a wide variety of hospitality businesses she has come to Cahuita. Her excellent client skills and a natural sense of attention to the fine details of the vacation experience and dedication that shows in all she does.

We take pride in the effort in the unique details in our Bungalows. They are made of the finest local hard woods, by local craftsmen. We have overseen every detail of construction to ensure that it is of the highest quality. You can expect impeccably clean and neat accommodations, flowers in your room, plenty of hot water, soft fluffy towels, luxurious bedding, four posted beds with netting, beautiful decorations, attention to detail and an excellent breakfast and service.

We live on the property, so we are there to ensure all is well. We have traveled all over Costa Rica and have experienced first hand most of what there is to do. We are here to help you make all of your arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and adventure. We do all we can to assist in making your experience one that you will always remember kindly and with a smile. Sit on your veranda or recline in your bed and listen to the waves crashing the shore, the birds sing, the frogs chirp and the monkey’s howl. Smell the sweet scents of the jungle, watch as the hummingbirds flit around you, see the hundreds of species of birds and beautiful flowers, and realize you are in paradise. Joe, Chris and Lady, (their English Springer Spaniel), want to welcome you to the natural and beautiful Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and their pride and joy, Coral Hill Bungalows.
