Costa Rica Eco Tours

When it comes to eco-tourism, Costa Rica has become synonymous with all that an unspoiled tropical paradise can be. Rarely does reality measure up to hype, but Costa Rica certainly comes close. The country's quiet history as a backwater free of colonial excesses has today become a boon, and Costa Rica has cashed in on its purity. And not without merit: blessed with beaches and biodiversity to spare, this is a verdant land of misty volcanoes, roaring rivers and screeching jungles teeming with exotic fauna and flora.

Flora in Costa Rica

Throw in the friendly, educated Ticos (as Costa Ricans are known) and you can see why down here they call it "Pura Vida" - pure life.

We are Coral Hill Bungalows and we  specialize in vacation and tours where we live, the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, which includes from the north the Tortuguero National Park – The “Amazon of Costa Rica”
Home to more than 300 species of birds including toucans, kingfishers, parrots and the rare green macaw and the Atlantic Turtle Nesting Beaches. Walk these nesting beaches with a naturalist guide.
To the South where you can visit the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Reserve, in Punta Uva and Manzanillo, the Bribri Indian Kekoldi Reserve, and the Cahuita National Park, these wonderful natural environments contain thousands of species of Flora and Fauna, many unique to this area.

Costa Rica continues to lives up to its pro eco challenge for tourism and guided tours married with the preservation of its fragile eco systems.

Certified naturalist guides, many of whom are life long residents of the area and follow a government sponsored program on continuing education, can give you a very interesting insight into how the jungle plants and animals interact to create a diverse and fantastic eco system.

Howler in Costa Rica

We can assist you in creating a variety  of one day to one week eco tours with naturalist guides. We can help you to customize your tour to fit your needs. We can assist in making all of the arrangements for  transportation, accommodations, meals and activities.
Waterfalls, volcanoes and wildlife await in Costa Rica, where the splendid natural beauty of this Central American country is part of every travel experience. White-sand beaches border lush rain forests, where guided hikes might reveal turtles, toucans, scarlet macaws and howler monkeys, sloths, ant eaters and a diverse eco system.
If you are seeking a taste of adventure and a lush natural environment when you travel, Costa Rica has plenty of options for you. From optional walking or hiking tours to zip-line jaunts through jungle canopy, Costa Rica will satisfy the active vacationer.  Many of the natural environments and things to do can be offered to those less inclined to participate in active vacations.
